Asia Manufacturing site located in Suzhou Industrial Park, China is the eighth manufacturing site for Roche Diagnostics Global Operations as well as the 1^st manufacturing site in the Asia Pacific Region.

The AM site is the first manufacturing site in Asia and also the first green field project of Roche Diagnostics in decades. The site covers the land area of 73,333sqm and is composed of 9 major buildings: administration building, QC building, Production, Warehouse, Central Utility, Maintenance building, etc. with the total footprint area of 46,000sqm.

The architectural expression of the AM site reflects Roche’s timeless architecture and stands for innovation, clarity and elegance. In addition, the design concept of the AM site is unique by integrating local Chinese elements (typical Suzhou garden and wooded elements) with Roche modern architecture.

In recognition of the high level of energy saving measures and sustainability resources, a LEED Platinum Certificate for the administration building was received.

The new best-in-class diagnostics facility, which meets the highest standards, enables Roche to further increase its market responsiveness and continued steady market growth in the region. It will further strengthen the global manufacturing network and contribute to the overall competitiveness of the business.
